So this result was always going to come, I just wish we had held out at least until the Arsenal match on Sep 27th.
Take nothing away from Wigan, as they were fantastic. Ecuadorian midfielder Antonio Valencia was pure class, and the Gladiator, Mr. Zaki, nearly burst the ball while smashing in Wigan’s fifth off the underside of the bar.
I think we knew we would have to cope with a few of these over the course of the season, so heads up, and move on to the next match, vs Newcastle.
